For our client, a multinational manufacturer of aesthetics and physiotherapy devices, we are seeking an experienced Material & Production Planner. This role will be based in the company's factory located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.

Material & Production Planner - Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand
• Lead the optimization process of lead time in order to eventually optimize the production and material planning
• Measures the lead time it takes for products to move through the production process and supply chain
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize the inventory level and ensure adequate stock levels
• Maximize adherence to planned vs actual
• Measure the orders fulfilled on time and in full
• Data analysis and trend measurement
• Ensure the delivery of materials meets the production schedule and minimum stock levels to secure a smooth flow of production
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the processes for the delivery of materials
• Evaluate and analyze the expected volume of materials according to the annual plan
• Understand and manage the risk of the impact of material planning on the production schedule
• Take adequate action in case of a shortage of material that affects production
• Use materials planning systems
• Communicate daily with other units in connection with forecasting and planning the production flow
• Generate and ensure the timely order of materials
• Plans the production of products according to the pre-set deadlines and the annual plan
• Ensures that the delivery of materials meets the production schedule to ensure the smooth flow in production
• Creates production orders based on business plan and buffer stock levels
• Takes adequate action in case of a shortage of material that affects production
• Generates records for the material stock warehouse to supply production orders with materials
• Communicates daily with other units in connection with the planning of the material and production process
• Improve/optimize processes, operations, and tasks related to the daily planning activities - make proposals for changes

Material & Production Planner - Job Requirements:

• Analytical thinking, planning skills, and the ability to make effective and flexible decisions
• Has a positive, results-oriented, and customer-oriented attitude.

• Previous planning experience
• A good understanding of material delivery processes is an advantage
• Experience with an ERP system or other process management software will be considered an advantage
• Very good computer literacy (Advanced skills in Excel)
• University degree
• Very good level of English
