Job Description
Synopsis
- Responsible for the availability of assigned aircraft and component material for both the daily operational and all scheduled aircraft and component maintenance activities. Thus; ensuring operational and maintenance aircraft and component dispatch reliability is supported.
- Responsible for the inventory holding for the assigned fleet as applicable and to effectively manage spares for optimum utilization and effectively record and report within the assigned planning area.
Accountabilities
- Responsible for the execution aircraft and component material purchase and replenishment processes and efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements to material consumption forecasting to improve cost effective off shelf availability in order to support maintenance and operational dispatch reliability
- Responsible for the inventory holding for the assigned fleet as applicable and to effectively manage spares for optimum utilization.
- Responsible forecasting and planning spares ensuring availability for modification programs and maintenance schedules.
- Preparation of spares package for all aircraft maintenance inputs and reviewing non-moving/slow moving spares.
- Ensure information for master data creation of new parts are provided to item master with all essential information whenever identified through related approved documentation and establishing effectivities and interchangeabilities and maintaining/updating the records.
- Close coordination with all stake holder departments like Engineering, Configuration, maintenance planning, entry into service, projects, Finance etc in evaluating the material requirements, carrying out cost analysis and lead all material activities related to assigned fleet, aircraft or component to align with other departments objectives meeting Etihad's operational goals.
Education & Experience
- University Degree in Business Administration or technical field or equivalent professional qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years related industry experience in the field of Supply Chain or Planning related to aircraft management in an airline or an aviation company with an International business exposure and experience.
