Position: Material Controller
Location: Musaffah , Abu Dhbai Company Overview: A leading provider of prefabricated piping solutions to diverse industries. As a Material Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of materials throughout our production and supply chain processes. Role Overview:The Material Controller will be responsible for managing the flow of materials, from procurement to distribution, ensuring a steady supply to support our production operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to optimize material management processes. Key Responsibilities: Material Procurement and Planning:Collaborate with the Procurement team to identify material requirements based on production schedules and project demands.
Assist in generating purchase orders and ensure timely communication with approved suppliers and vendors.
Monitor order status and follow up to ensure timely delivery of materials. Inventory Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, including quantities, locations, and movement history.
Regularly conduct physical stock counts to reconcile actual inventory levels with system records.
Implement effective inventory control practices to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory. Quality Control and Inspection:Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that received materials meet established quality standards.
Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on incoming materials, documenting and reporting any non-conformities. Coordination and Communication:Collaborate with Production, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials to meet production targets.
Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding material availability, delays, and issues. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of material transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
Generate regular reports on material consumption, inventory levels, and procurement activities for management review. Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement within the material management function.
Participate in cross-functional teams to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• years of experience in material control, inventory management, or supply chain operations, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of materials, specifications, and quality standards within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
