Material Controllers
Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials received, stored short term and long term.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Move merchandise by hand, hand truck, or forklift equipment to maintain continuous flow of merchandise.
May be responsible for the unloading and stocking of incoming merchandise, picking of outgoing merchandise and loading of outbound truck or trailers.
Checks, verifies and audits items and enters data into the system to ensure that item has been received and that it is not damaged or defective.
Identifies, separates, labels, and palletizes items on pallets to enable relocation into appropriate area.
May operate a forklift to move and put away merchandise.
Reports damages and/or vendor compliance issues.
Resolve problems or discrepancies with help from immediate WH Supervisor.
Ensure safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities.
Perform monthly compliance reports.
Perform visual inspections of safety equipment and machinery.
Maintain cleanliness of warehouse facility.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: QAR2,800.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
Experience:
material controllers: 3 years (Required)
warehousing: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
* qatar forklift lic (Required)
