Job Purpose
The role involves to achieve sales and customer satisfaction target of shop by fulfilling customer requirement within the policies and procedures. The job holder also have accountability of procuring small number of goods for immediate sales to customer over the counter and perform vehicle repair job.
Job Responsibilities
Greet customer in the shop and understand the requirement asking relevant questions. Understand and offer our products or services
Identifies the customers\' requests, inspect vehicle damage and record the finding in order to complete job card and quotation preparation
Performs required repair work (like oil change, tyre change, battery change, etc), in line with standard methods to ensure efficient use of time and quality
Align wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms of automobiles, using special alignment equipment and wheel-balancing machines
Ensure franchiser standard operating procedures are adhered maintain customer satisfaction index
Communicates with the foreman during the work to inform him of the check results and of his work, and also to ask for his help or assistance and assists Technicians as needed
Observes the safety rules defined for the equipment, instruments and products to avoid any work accident
Observes the work time set by the Foreman in order to meet the standard productivity requirement
Carrie out, own initiative at you own for minor work not requested by the customer to improve customer service
Assemble, install, or repair tyre related parts using tool or equipment as per recommended method
Prepares the tools, equipment required to complete each task and ensure all components are kept in orderly manner and in operational condition for next usage
Identifies additional work, non-conformances and immediately communicate to supervisor and documents the incidences on the work order
Inform the supervisor of any incident which might cause a delivery delay
Perform selective sorting of waste, within the frame of the applicable rules
Prepare the vehicle for delivery by ensuring all equipment and accessories are in place and returning any damaged or old parts to the customer if requested
Comply with QMS and SOP requirements
Job Requirements
Qualifications
High School
Preferably vocational certificate in automotive or mechanical
Experience
2 to 4 Years\' experience of quick service of vehicle
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
Proficient in automotive service technology. Like wheel alignment, balancing, oil change, filter change, breke pad change, AC repair, battery change, basic diagnostics
Repairing - Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it
Equipment Selection - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
Health and Safety - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures of promoting health and safety of self, team, property, etc.
