We're seeking a Master Planner Specialist- Ports, to help develop relationships with regional Port Authorities, Port Operators and other port clients, collaborate in engagement and business development opportunities, and play an integral part in the project delivery.
Based in the UAE, Jacobs' operational hub within the GCC, you'll have an opportunity to develop a wide range of consultancy service offerings within the Ports and Maritime line of business with the support of regional and global Subject Matter Experts.
As the Master Planner Specialist - Ports, you will have extensive experience with multiple port sectors such as Liquid, Dry Bulk, Containers, Cruise and Shipyards and your background will be focused on master planning. You will be tasked with providing overall sales and marketing support for the Ports Sector by driving organic growth for both near and long-term perspectives. We'll ask you to leverage your expertise to lead business growth and client stewardship activities - to include development of market strategies and growth initiatives.
We'll ask you work with the sales team while actively developing, delivering, and driving the Ports Sector growth strategy. You'll continue to communicate and see clients by engaging directly in key pursuit activities during the life cycle of pursuits in order to improve win rates. You'll also work with the Operations Lead and Technical Directors to ensure leaders are actively engaged in client leadership and sales activities. Additionally, you'll be charged with advancing innovation and collaboration with the Solutions & Technology function.
Using your experience in the ports market, you'll work collaboratively across the company to coordinate and drive strategies and sales, especially with common clients. We'll ask you to lead by example and continue actively manage the sales pipeline and meet or exceed your individual sales goals.
Here's What You'll Need:
As a successful candidate you will have a degree in a relevant field of study and MSc is advantageous. You will also possess: -
Experience working with a broad range of project types and sizes with diverse private and public sector clients including Port Authorities and Port Operators.
Experience personally engaging on key pursuits including development of strategy, pricing and managing the pursuit team.
Strong business acumen and experience developing sales and pursuit strategies.
Strategic thinker who drives innovative solutions.
Analytical person who can develop pricing proposals and support compliance with sales budgets.
Proven sales professional with demonstrated ability to close and have recent experience in the regional market.
