You will be responsible for the following: Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Conduct fittings and measurements for clients to ensure precise garment alterations. \xc2\xb7 Perform various alterations, such as hemming, adjusting seams, and tapering garments to meet the customer\'s specifications. \xc2\xb7 Sew and repair clothing using industrial sewing machines, sergers, and other equipment. \xc2\xb7 Provide expert advice to clients on garment fit and style. \xc2\xb7 Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition. \xc2\xb7 Keep accurate records of alterations, measurements, and customer preferences. \xc2\xb7 Assist in maintaining an inventory of sewing supplies and fabrics. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with team members and other departments to provide excellent customer service. Requirements: \xc2\xb7 With experience in Haute Couture and Ready to Wear \xc2\xb7 Knows how to do embroidery. \xc2\xb7 Proven experience as a Tailor or Seamstress, with a strong portfolio of alterations and garment construction. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines, sergers, and other relevant equipment. \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques, fabrics, and sewing methods. \xc2\xb7 Excellent attention to detail and precision in measuring and altering garments. \xc2\xb7 Strong communication and customer service skills. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \xc2\xb7 Flexibility to work in a fast-paced retail environment. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of fashion trends and style preferences is a plus. \xc2\xb7 High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in tailoring or fashion design is preferred.
