Job Description
A prominent Women\'s fashion brand based in Dubai is looking for an experienced Master Cutter and Tailor to join our organization. Must be able to create patterns for Evening Dress, Bridal Gown Pattern Maker (Patronist) To draw and cut out sets of patterns for specified ranges of garment sizes as well as grading. Familiar with making all simple and very complicated garment shapes. Familiar with different fabrics. Fast and quick and clean in making patterns and dresses/gowns.
Primary Responsibilities
- Making garments gowns, dresses, shirts, pants, skirts, and
- being able to imagine how the end garment will look like from the pattern design; and altering and repairing garments:
- Fixing torn or damaged clothing, as well as adjusting clothes to better fit customers; and ensuring proper measurements, adjustments, and fittings.
- Defining technical specifications for the garments and being knowledgeable about fabrics, patterns, shapes, and colors:
- Selecting and testing different fabrics.
- knowing about patternmaking and fittings, adapting, and creating patterns as needed
- keeping up to date with the latest fashion trends and techniques, as well as finding the best quality fabrics.
