A spa massage therapist is a professional who provides various health and wellness treatments to spa guests. Some of the main duties and responsibilities of a spa massage therapist are:
-Performing different types of massages and body treatments, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and others kind.
-Communicating with guests to customize the massage services according to their needs and preferences.
-They Arrange workstation, treatment room, and check with guests frequently to promote comfort, safety, and security throughout the course of delivering service, as well as report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager
-They perform housekeeping duties which include maintaining cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment of room throughout shift, disposal of trash and dirty linens, and also clean, maintain, and sterilize tools; they also ensure supplies and equipment are secured at the end of each shift
-The therapist should welcome the clients with a cheerful demeanor and receive them until they reach the treatment room.
