Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Concrete Block Installer

to join our construction team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying concrete blocks, bricks, and stones to construct high-quality, durable walls, partitions, and other load-bearing structures according to architectural plans. This role is crucial for the structural integrity and safety of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

Block Laying:

Precisely lay concrete blocks, bricks, and stones using mortar to construct walls, partitions, chimneys, and other structures as per blueprints and project specifications.

Mortar Preparation:

Accurately measure and mix cement, sand, and water to prepare mortar of the correct consistency for various applications.

Surface Preparation:

Clean and prepare surfaces and foundations to ensure proper adhesion and structural stability of the masonry work.

Measurement & Layout:

Measure, mark, and align surfaces to guide block placement, ensuring all work is plumb, level, and square.

Reading Blueprints:

Interpret and follow

technical drawings, blueprints, and building layouts

to execute designs and construction plans accurately.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished work to ensure the blocks are laid properly, joints are consistent, and the structure meets required strength and durability standards.

Safety & Compliance:

Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Collaboration:

Work efficiently and collaboratively with site foremen, carpenters, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience:

Proven experience as a

Block Mason, Bricklayer, or Concrete Block Installer

. Experience working on large-scale residential, commercial, or industrial projects is highly valued.

Technical Skills:

Strong, practical knowledge of masonry techniques, construction methods, and building materials. Expertise in working with various types of concrete blocks, bricks, and mortar mixes. Proficient in using hand tools (trowels, levels, plumb bobs) and power tools relevant to the masonry trade.

Blueprint Comprehension:

Demonstrated ability to read and understand complex architectural blueprints and technical specifications.

Physical Requirements:

Excellent physical stamina, strength, and dexterity to perform sustained manual labor, including heavy lifting and working outdoors in high-temperature conditions.

Safety:

Valid construction safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, or local equivalent) are preferred.

Teamwork:

Strong work ethic and ability to function effectively as part of a construction team.
