Overview

ALTA VITA is looking for an experienced and dedicated Mason Chargehand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and executing the work of masons involved in blockworks, RCC, stone & tiling installations. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional craftsmanship, and a commitment to safety and quality across various aspects of masonry.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and lead a team of masons in the construction and installation of blockworks, RCC, stone & tiling installations

- Ensure that all masonry work complies with project specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide the team in accurate blockworks, RCC, stone & tiling installations and other masonry tasks.

- Oversee the construction of various masonry, ensuring precision in measurements and alignment.

- Provide hands on support and expertise in all masonry tasks, blockworks, RCC, stone & tiling finishing works.

- Monitor work progress and implement efficient work plans to ensure timely completion of projects.

- Enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

- Conduct regular quality checks on materials and workmanship to uphold the highest construction standards.

- Maintain effective communication with site management, providing updates on project status and addressing any challenges that arise.

- Collaborate effectively with other trades and contractors to coordinate activities and ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

- 5 Years proven experience as a mason, with supervisory experience in a construction environment, particularly in high end projects.

- Strong knowledge of masonry processes including blockworks, RCC, stone & tiling installations.

- Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints accurately.

- Familiarity with safety regulations and construction best practices.

- Relevant certifications in masonry or related fields are advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
