We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason (B) to join our construction team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in masonry work and must be capable of following site instructions while delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate effectively with the site supervisor and/or site engineer to understand work plans and daily instructions.
2. Interpret and follow site guidelines, ensuring tasks are executed as per the given directions.
3. Install blocks according to standard construction practices, maintaining quality and alignment.
4. Apply plastering on different surfaces, ensuring finish quality and adherence to standard procedures.
5. Supervise and guide helpers or assistants as required, ensuring smooth workflow and task completion.
6. Use masonry tools and equipment properly and safely, following standard operating procedures.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in masonry work.
2. Strong knowledge of block work and plastering standards and techniques.
3. Ability to read and understand work instructions and site directions.
4. Skilled in using hand and power tools related to masonry.
5. Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
6. Responsible, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
