Role:

The Marketing Manager will have the experience and expertise to take ownership of various campaigns and projects, but also work collaboratively as part of a wider team. The ideal candidate will hit the ground running and support the planning, content, creative, delivery and measurability of marketing initiatives and customer experience platforms across multiple channels. We're looking for someone with a strong focus on digital and an 'ROI' mindset, but still have a grasp on traditional marketing such as branding, PR and OOH advertising.

In addition to marketing activities and overseeing customer centric touchpoints, we're looking for a forward thinker who has a keen interest in cutting-edge technology and keeps up to date with the latest marketing innovations and trends. As the events industry turns towards more immersive and tech led experiences, we want someone who can help drive this and take the World Future Energy Summit to new heights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Event Leadership, the Content and Marketing director as well as customer experience teams, you will help plan an annual marketing strategy with a focus on growing the event and building the profile of the
. * You will be required to collaborate and communicate effectively with Marketing specialists and support teams; briefing, developing, overseeing, project managing and owning the delivery of a multi-channel online and offline marketing plan.
  • Communication and coordination across various partners and govt entities will be a big component of this role and therefore the SR Marketing Mgr. will require the ability to confidently work with senior level stakeholders to ensure event collaboration and ensuring the delivery of contractually agreed marketing deliverables.
  • A quick learner, you will identify trending industry topics and utilise them for effective marketing initiatives and content.
  • You will act as a brand and industry champion for future energy and sustainability, shaping value propositions, creating the on-site experiences and feature areas within the physical event, while ensuring that all communications compliment the brand and enhance the customer journey.
  • Coordinating the management of P.R, you will support the growth in market share of voice.
  • Project managing event specific digital platforms and third-party vendors when applicable.
  • Developing, managing, and analysing both media buys and campaign execution to drive new attendee registrations, exhibitor leads and revenue of event related products and services.
  • Sourcing content (industry and show related) from different avenues and working with content teams to deliver thought leadership for brand channels.
  • Supporting the creation of a social media content calendar and paid marketing strategy.

  • An understanding of Partnerships/sponsorships collaborations
  • On-site event marketing and branding experience
  • A high degree of professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels, including excellent written skills. Strong interpersonal skills are essential and ability to work in matrix environment.
