Marketing Lead

Job Description

An ideal candidate for this role must have scalable experience in 360/integrated marketing. We are looking for someone
creative with a hustler mentality, agile, always thinks out of the box and demonstrates a can-do attitude. This role will rely on
ambition, discipline, and creativity to constantly raise the benchmark for Hala against competitors.
This role will draw on the employee\xe2\x80\x99s experience and knowledge of 3 key areas:
Customer/Captain Campaigns:
  • Collaborate with other teams (internal, cross-functional and external) to propose and develop marketing initiatives/
campaigns
  • Support in writing, and proofreading both creative and technical content for small- and large-scale campaigns
(inclusive of all owned and 3rd party media)
  • Working closely with the Creative team to ensure that all content across our owned and 3rd party channels are
accurate, on brand, consistent, up-to-date, inspiring, and optimized for target audiences.
  • Work with internal teams (social media, Partnership, Growth teams) to constantly evaluate and measure the
performance of content/campaigns, ultimately adopting it in approaching future campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Ops team on small and large scale captain campaigns and events (planning to execution, based
on requirements)
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills through task delegation & project tracking
  • Contribute and lead conversations with the wider Hala team for campaign engagement, challenging within means or
asking for collaboration/support.
  • Establish, foster, and leverage relationships with RTA/Careem.
Social Media:
  • Create, execute, and manage the Company\xe2\x80\x99s social media strategy in line with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s brand identity through
competitive research, platform selection, benchmarking, messaging, identifying and jumping on trends, keep up to
date with current events and news in Dubai
  • Must be passionate and have a knack for social media content creation and execution - spontaneous, trend seeking,
exploring different formats, ideas.Own the social media calendar - develop (work with creative team) monthly social calendars with content/captions
fully mapped out to point back to the overall social strategy
  • Work with the Careem Community Management team in tracking day to day requests, queries and finding
opportunities in integrating community management to the overall social strategy.
  • Influencer research and management based on campaign requests and opportunities
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Social Media Accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Tik
Tok) - work with the digital team to map out learnings and opportunities
  • Lead on reports
  • Work with Careem team on collaborative pieces
PR/Influencer:
  • Lead in formulating PR & influencer plans and strategies (plans must include agency-supported AND self-directed,
Hala-driven campaigns).
  • Work with the PR agency on following up and executing PR calendared activities
  • Explore, recommend, and execute campaigns that promote our brand (values & mission) in diverse online and
offline channels
  • Manage PR agency on scoping out deliverables, tracking progress, and sharing outcomes with the wider team
  • Manage and make recommendations to the PR agency on media activations, events, and conferences and support
implementation of promotional plans.
  • Be the subject matter expert for all PR & Influencers (including budget management).
  • Monitor for any PR crisis, presenting solutions and a recovery plan in the likelihood of it.
  • Explore, recommend, and lead the team in executing influencer campaigns (either as part of a campaign or
independent activations \xe2\x80\x93 backed up with objectives and timelines).
  • Entrepreneurial, fast & innovative in tapping into brand promotional activities.
  • Communicate learnings and performance reports on PR & Influencer campaigns.
  • Establish, foster, and leverage relationships with RTA/Careem.
Overall, the Marketing Lead must be a Hala culture champion \xe2\x80\x93 with consistent, positive contribution and influence with
minimum 3+ years of expertise in marketing (specifically in campaign management, social media, with basic experience in PR)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE \xe2\x97\x8f Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in Marketing \xe2\x97\x8f Basic photoshop skills or other design, content development skills equivalent to photoshop \xe2\x97\x8f Preferably bilingual in English and Arabic \xe2\x97\x8f Expertise in social media (use of social media tools like Social Bakers) \xe2\x97\x8f Proven experience as a content manager with specific online content management and social media calendars \xe2\x97\x8f Display keen interest in social media (content & trends) \xe2\x97\x8f Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Arabic (preferable) \xe2\x97\x8f Strong internal and external relationship-building ability for mutual achievements \xe2\x97\x8f Demonstrate previous success in building sales and revenue in a Commerce environment SKILLS & ABILITIES (non-functional) Non-Functional: \xe2\x97\x8f Stakeholder Management \xe2\x97\x8f Agency relationship management \xe2\x97\x8f RTA and Careem management \xe2\x97\x8f Internal team engagement and collaboration \xe2\x97\x8f Project management \xe2\x97\x8f Passion for creative concepts and execution \xe2\x97\x8f Communication and presentation skills \xe2\x97\x8f Self-directed learning \xe2\x97\x8f Pro-active engagement, and participation.
