Team Structure: Marketing Executive, Marketing Manager
Job Purpose: To support the existing Marketing team in executing marketing campaigns, copywriting and strengthening brand awareness.
Scope: This role requires the execution of marketing plans, as well as the development of content, media partnerships, PR campaign management and overall product development for Arabian Travel Market (Dubai, May) and World Travel Market London (UK, November)
Key responsibilities:
Planning, co-ordinating and implementing visitor communications campaigns (on and offline)
All sales & sponsorship collateral \xe2\x80\x93 copy-writing, design and liaising with sales team
PPT creation and updates for various presentations
Maintaining and developing relationships with key suppliers and media partners
Participating in team presentations to exhibitors
Joining networking events locally with media
Researching and negotiating barter agreements and executing international advertising campaigns
Negotiating and finalizing international paid media (WTM)
Managing design briefings and production including copywriting, print production & artwork
Liaising and developing relationship with external and internal suppliers (design team, printers, PR team)
Assist with educational programme recruitment and onsite theatre / speaker management
Sourcing content for communications
Key point of liaison for the show daily, catalogue and other official publications
Overall management of content for official publications \xe2\x80\x93 supplying data and info to external suppliers and co-ordination of the various parties involved
Co-ordinate compilation of ATM app content with internal teams and the app provider
Supporting marketing manager in managing media and visitor registration process with third party supplier
Plan and co-ordinate industry research
Controlling costs against budget, raising orders, maintaining invoice records and marketing budget trackers
Main contact for compliance team (internal) to ensure all suppliers are up to date in any compliance paperwork
Analysing and tracking online & offline campaigns
Planning and implementing the promotional campaign, including direct mail, email, social media and face to face networking events
Oversea hosted media recruitment and flight booking process
Plan, manage and implement PR strategy
Support with implementation and fulfilment of online and offline sponsorship opportunities
Plan and implement onsite media programme including tours, press conferences, social functions
Plan and implement media recruitment
Manage list rentals / data research
Work with marketing team to develop visitor recruitment strategy, build communications plan
Contribution to the team social media content / web updates
Support fulfilment of online and offline sponsorship opportunities
Networking at local events to represent RX / ATM
Ideal candidate profile:
Fluent written and spoken Arabic (not essential)
Strong experience in online and offline direct marketing
Good database management skills
Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills
Strong time and project management skills
Good multi tasking skills and ability to prioritise
Ability to meet deadlines within budget and under pressure
Event marketing experience preferable
Experience in a publishing / event / exhibition background would be an advantage
Content management systems experience / Web skills an advantage
Strong IT skills
Interest in and aptitude for social media
