Marketing Intern

Job Purpose:
As part of the Marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible in the implementation of various high-quality marketing, PR, and social media initiatives, for our.

The job holder will independently and collaboratively manage multiple projects to any set objectives, support in the execution of these projects and to add value and ensure Alpin\xe2\x80\x99s brand is well presented and optimized.

Alpin Limited is a multidisciplinary built-asset consultancy based in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi. This role is for the UAE.

The local team is composed of a diverse range of experts who lead their respective fields, including LEED APs, PQPs, trainers, commissioning authorities (CxA), construction managers, MBAs, and building physics PhDs. We also have commissioning authorities and consultants based in Munich, London, New York City, and other prominent global locations.

Our current projects include: The New Abu Dhabi Airport, Riyadh Airport Expansion, Johnson Controls Research Center, Dubai Expo 2020, Riyadh Metro and several other high-profile projects in the EU and GCC.

Key Accountabilities:

Planning & Strategy
  • Assist in updating and circulating the Marketing Calendar.
  • Assist in brainstorming and implementing all planned thematic and tactical activities in adherence to the Marketing Calendar.
Brand Support & Execution
  • Support in building and enhancing the brand image in line with brand objectives.
  • Support in managing advertising creatives ensuring brand image is kept consistent. Creatives include but not limited to (Brochures and catalogues, POS, digital assets, environmental branding and packaging) to ensure brand guideline compliancy and delivery to brief and budget.
  • Assist the team in proofreading/copywriting any presentations with external/internal parties.
Digital and Social Media Content Creation
The role involves a great deal of digital and online marketing work, specifically managing our website and social media accounts. This includes copywriting and multimedia content and management of online campaigns.
  • Work to develop engaging, creative and innovative social media content.
  • Manage the social media calendars which include copywriting brand-focused messages for regular scheduled posts.
  • Assist in the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the website, uploading or editing content where applicable.
  • Proofread, co-write or publish blog articles written by consultants and briefing necessary images.
PR & Events (Online and Offline)
  • Keeping an eye on trends and the pulse of the industry
  • Brainstorm and plan content creation for public release
  • Assist in the regular liaise with marketing and PR contacts to ensure activity and coverage.
Administration
  • Assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of monthly reports and presentations.

Skills:
BS in Marketing, Communications or similar field;
Solid design skills (will be tested during the application process);
Previous Collaboration with graphic designers, web specialists, and other technical team
members to create successful marketing campaigns;
Adobe Creative Suite skills are required;
Up-to-date social media and IT skills;
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive;
Solid understanding of different marketing techniques;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online
analytics and Google AdWords);
Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices;
Confident to drive everywhere within the UAE;
Interest in the sustainability sector;
Excellent command of English language (spoken and written), preferably English as a first-
language;
Excellent command of English Grammar;
Very high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
IT savvy; strong computer skills;
Must have good \xe2\x80\x9cattention-to-detail" skills;
Excellent phone and interactive skills;
Driving License and a car.
