Marketing and Enrolment Director Permanent contract /Abu Dhabi Les Roches Global Hospitality Education, in the top 3 for Employer Reputation of Hospitality & Leisure Management graduates by the QS World University Ranking, is a brand of the Sommet Education Group. Les Roches, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, is opening a world-class hospitality management academy in Abu Dhabi in September 2024. As part of the pre-opening preparations, we are recruiting the members of the Les Roches Abu Dhabi Executive Management Committee. The Marketing & Enrolment Director will be based in Abu Dhabi, lead the Marketing and Enrolment department and will report to the Campus Managing Director and Regional Enrolment Director. The M&E Director has a pivotal role in positioning the brand in the market, co-creating, and implementing the go-to-market marketing & enrolment strategy and executing the long-term student recruitment strategy. In collaboration, he/she will shape the long-term vision of the school, contribute to create a UAE hospitality sector that is future proof and authentic, attracting Emirati talent to the Industry. He/she tailors enrolment strategy to incorporate the unique, economic, and educational context of the UAE, ensuring relevance and engagement with local student population. For the role of Marketing and Enrolment Director of this new pioneering academy, we look for a creative and strategic leader with a proven track record of successfully developing and executing enrolment strategies in an educational institution or a similar field. To be eligible for the role, you need to hold a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field and have at least 10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing including managerial experience in an international company and in the Hospitality and/or education Industry. You have strong knowledge in operational effectiveness in a matrix environment with multiple and multi-cultural stakeholders. You possess excellent interpersonal skills, project management skills, including budget management and data analysis and excel in the fields of communication and negotiation. You respect ethics and compliance, act as a mentor to your team and develop them. You have a fluent level of spoken and written English, and preferable also in Arabic.

As Marketing and Enrolment Director your main missions will be to: Student Enrolment
  • Develop, lead and implement a comprehensive 3-year enrolment strategy including targeted campaigns, events, and partnerships, ensuring sustainable growth in the region and alignment with the brand\xe2\x80\x99s goals, overall awareness, demand generation and conversion strategy.
  • Set and communicate student recruitment targets for the department, develop strategies to achieve these targets and monitor and report the progress.
  • Work closely with the Campus Managing Director and other key global internal stakeholders to align marketing and enrolment efforts with the overall campus vision and objectives. Ensure consistency, best practices, and knowledge sharing across all campuses.
Sales and Marketing
  • Establish the Sales & Marketing department by defining roles, responsibilities, and organizational structure. Ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Hire and onboard a skilled and motivated sales and marketing team, providing ongoing mentorship and professional development.
  • Manage the department\'s budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and return on investment.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities adhere to Les Roches\xe2\x80\x99 policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changing market dynamics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Branding, Campus events and Data Analysis
  • Oversee the campus branding compliance and the development and execution of marketing initiatives, online and offline tools to promote the campus\'s programs and offerings.
  • Implement the academy\xe2\x80\x99s recruitment events (private visits, discovery days, VIP B2B events), identify new events or lead generation activities/pipeline builders and support graduation and other events on campus.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to monitor and adjust strategies as needed and provide regular reports to campus leadership.
  • Leverage local market analytics to refine recruitment tactics and marketing campaigns aligned with Abu Dhabi\xe2\x80\x99s educational trends and student expectations.
