Market Analyst (refined Products)
Job Description
The Analyst will support the refined products trading desk by delivering timely, actionable market intelligence across regional and global flows.
Coverage will include:
Gasoline & blendstocks
Gasoil / Diesel
Jet / Kero
Fuel oil (VLSFO / HSFO)
Naphtha
You will work closely with traders, operators and risk to provide forward-looking views on supply-demand dynamics, arbitrage economics and macro drivers impacting product markets.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain regional and global supply-demand balances for refined products
Analyse refinery runs, outages, maintenance schedules and product yields
Track cargo flows, arbitrage windows and freight economics
Monitor inventory data (ARA, USGC, Singapore, Fujairah, etc.)
Develop forward price views using crack spreads, refinery margins and structural indicators
Support traders with scenario analysis and pricing implications
Produce daily and weekly desk commentary
Provide structured input into trading strategy discussions
Maintain data models and improve analytical frameworks
