Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive construction surveys on vessels in compliance with NCM (New Construction Management) standards and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with surveyors, clients, and shipyard teams to schedule surveys aligned with vessel availability and project timelines
Perform technical inspections and make independent decisions on board within defined surveyor responsibilities and Operational Authority Limitations
Serve as the primary liaison between shipyards, owners' teams, and the classification society
Interpret and apply complex technical rules and regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards
Prepare comprehensive reports, inspections, and technical documentation; communicate all findings, deviations, and resolutions to Bureau Veritas offices
Maintain strict professionalism and impartiality to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld independently of commercial pressures
Exercise technical judgment within your area of expertise, supported by Project Leader guidance and Bureau Veritas protocols
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in marine surveying or new construction projects
Strong knowledge of maritime rules, regulations, and classification standards
Willingness to travel and work on-site at shipyards and vessels
