Job Specific Knowledge: Reporting to the PMC Engineering Manager and works under his direction Be responsible for reviewing the FEED contractor marine engineering designs, including production of technical reports, written calculations, design briefs, drawings, schedules, contract documentation and the like. Review and comments on Structural design of marine structures, including preparation of specifications and reports. Able to work successfully with other members of the design and management team, including, drafters / designers and supervising engineers. Follow design guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned project Prepare and adhere to assigned budgets and schedules, integrate team efforts, review work, set priorities, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner and communicate status to lead engineers. Check compliance with Alliance QA/Safety/Environment goals. Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system . Safety - Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. HSE - Understand and follow OH&S procedures. Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors and prepare comments and recommendations incorporating any comments received from the Owner. Attend technical meeting with Owner, Licensor, FEED Contractor and Vendors. Attend all Project technical sessions by the FEED Contractor such as: Design Review Meetings, 3D Model Review Meeting, Constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP and HAZID etc. Supervise and manage the review and approval of FEED Contractor's work, ensuring compliance with Owner and Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practices. Coordinate the required Engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models. Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models to ensure design optimization and validation for the Owner.
