We are seeking an experienced Marine Diesel Mechanic to handle maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of inboard diesel engines and related propulsion systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and hands-on experience ensuring marine vessels operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair inboard diesel engines, transmissions, and propulsion systems. Perform preventive maintenance, including oil and filter changes, cooling system servicing, and fuel system cleaning. Troubleshoot engine performance issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Overhaul or replace defective parts such as pistons, bearings, valves, and gaskets. Align engines, shafts, and propellers for optimal performance. Conduct sea trials and performance testing after maintenance or repairs. Maintain accurate service records and report mechanical issues promptly. Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience as a Marine Diesel Mechanic. Strong technical knowledge of inboard diesel engines, transmissions, and propulsion systems. Proficient in mechanical diagnostics, repair, and alignment techniques. Ability to read technical manuals and work independently or as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills. Immediate joiners preferred.
