The Marination Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the preparation and marination of meats and other food items, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards. This role requires hands-on supervision, team management, and maintaining production efficiency in a high-volume QSR environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the marination and preparation process of meats and other food items according to recipes and standards.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of raw materials to maintain freshness and hygiene.
Monitor the quality, taste, and consistency of marinated items before they move to cooking or production.
Train and guide kitchen staff on marination techniques, hygiene, and food safety practices.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, wastage, and production output.
Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Assist in menu planning or recipe updates as required.
Collaborate with the kitchen and operations teams to optimize workflow and production efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum [2-3] years of experience in QSR or food production, preferably in meat preparation or marination.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
Good organizational and time management skills.
