to join our construction and finishing team. The installer will be responsible for cutting, laying, and finishing tile and marble surfaces in residential and commercial projects. This includes floors, walls, countertops, and other decorative or functional surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives or waterproofing as needed.
Cut tiles or marble to required sizes using hand tools, wet saws, or power cutting equipment.
Accurately lay tiles and marble slabs according to design plans, patterns, and alignment guides.
Mix, apply, and finish grouts, sealants, or mortar to secure materials and provide a clean finish.
Inspect finished work to ensure quality, level alignment, and aesthetic accuracy.
Repair or replace broken or damaged tiles and marble surfaces.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a tile or marble installer (minimum 2 years preferred).
Ability to cut, shape, and lay materials with high accuracy.
Familiarity with materials like ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and stone.
Knowledge of tools, adhesives, grouts, and sealants.
Strong attention to detail and finishing work.
Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift materials for extended periods.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team.
Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Vocational training or apprenticeship in tile/marble installation.
Driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites.
Work Conditions:
Indoor and outdoor job sites, including construction zones.
May involve working in dusty, noisy environments.
Standard working hours with potential overtime during project deadlines.
