Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Setup Parts Parameters and Categorize Components in JDE (ERP)
  • Study, Evaluate, Develop and Improve Manufacturing Capabilities.
  • Create and Maintain Work Instructions for Shop Floor Personnel
  • Review Technical Guidelines and coordinate with Engineering team to ensure
  • Perform Process Audits to identify gaps and opportunities for improvements
  • Identify and provide process Tools and Equipment necessary for shopfloor personnel to perform their work safe, effective and efficient.
  • Assess Vendors Process Capability and Provide technical Instructions as needed
  • Create and Maintain Process Routing and other Process Parameters
  • Perform Process Time Study using MOST or other similar methods
  • Fixture, Tooling and Process Equipment Design, Evaluation, and qualification
  • Designing and Testing new equipment, processes procedures and systems
  • Work and collaborate with Cross Functional team to achieve set goals
  • Responsible for creating manufacturing process Training programs and procedures for shop floor personnel.
  • Perform Pre-manufacturing and prototyping process.
  • Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford
  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 in Similar Role

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proven analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP \xe2\x80\x93 preferably JDE
  • Good communication skills (oral and written).
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • CAD-CAM knowledge
  • 2D and 3D Cad experience \xe2\x80\x93 preferably with CREO & AutoCAD
  • Knowledge in various Time Study and Process Improvement techniques.
  • Lean and Six Sigma Knowledge
Qualifications:
This is the intermediate level job. Acquires and develops broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area. Applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform tasks for conventional products. Exercises limited judgment. Works on small projects or portions of larger projects. Assists on other tasks, or performs moderate design tasks. Receives close supervision, and thorough review of all work performed for application of sound professional judgment.
