Role Overview

As a Licensee and Managing Director/Principal Consultant within Porter's Management Group, you won't just have a role; you will establish, own, and lead PMG's presence in your designated local market. This is a ground-floor opportunity to leverage our established brand, methodologies, and support structure to launch and scale your own consulting practice.
Success in this role hinges on your ability to aggressively drive business growth through direct B2B sales and prolific networking. You will be responsible for developing and executing a very lean, high-impact market entry strategy to quickly generate initial momentum and secure your first clients. Earnings are directly tied to your personal consulting delivery and the growth of your practice. As you build a strong client base and demonstrate scalability, this role offers a clear pathway to equity-based earnings, providing significant long-term financial rewards and the opportunity to build substantial value in your regional PMG business.

Key Responsibilities
Successfully launching and scaling your regional PMG business requires hands-on leadership across key areas:
Strategic Direction & Lean Execution: Define the strategic plan for establishing and growing your local PMG presence. Implement a highly focused, lean approach to market entry and initial client acquisition to build momentum quickly.
Aggressive Business Development & Client Acquisition: This is a priority. Systematically identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. Build and nurture key client relationships from the ground up. Your ability to sell and close deals is crucial.
Market Leadership & Networking: Become the recognized face of PMG and a leader in the consulting sector within your market. Actively network, write, speak, and build your personal brand alongside PMG's, leveraging our history and track record to open doors.
Local Market Adaptation: Customize and position PMG's services and communications to resonate specifically with the needs and nuances of your local market.
Team Building (as you scale): As your client base grows, strategically recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of consulting professionals, fostering a culture aligned with PMG's standards of excellence and innovation.
Client Success & Relationship Management: Ensure exceptional client satisfaction by delivering tailored consulting solutions that directly meet their specific needs and drive tangible business success, fostering long-term relationships.
Financial Management & Profitability: Take ownership of your business's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
Brand Advocacy: Uphold and actively promote the Porter's Management Group brand image, ensuring consistency in branding, communication, and client engagement across your region.
Qualifications
Proven Experience:
10+ years of executive leadership, direct consulting, or multi-industry experience with demonstrated functional expertise. Crucially, this experience must include significant exposure to B2B sales environments.
Entrepreneurial Builder:
A strong, demonstrated ability and desire to build and grow a business from an early stage with a hands-on, results-driven approach to leadership and execution.
Exceptional Sales & Client Acquisition Prowess:
A verifiable track record in acquiring new clients, developing strategic partnerships, and driving significant revenue growth. Your ability to sell is a core requirement.
Master Networker:
Proven ability to build and leverage professional networks to generate leads, create opportunities, and establish market presence.
Lean Execution Mindset:
Ability to develop and implement efficient, high-impact strategies with limited initial resources to achieve rapid market traction.
Financial Acumen:
Strong ability to manage financial operations, analyze performance metrics, control costs, and maximize profitability.
