Description

MIS Reports * Generates and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner

  • Provides recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency
  • Performs data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis
  • Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness
Accounting Responsibilities * Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Secures financial information by completing data base backups
Planning and Organizing * Monitors the day to day transactions on timely manner
  • Ensures that the funds are available at bank accounts, from where the cheques are issued
  • Supervise all the cash collection and cheque receipts from the debtors and bank
  • Coordinate internal/ external training for the team
Verification and Reports * Verify, approve and sign the cheques for various payments to suppliers, PR Expenses, HR Expenses, and employee salaries, other benefits, petty cash expenses, rent etc.
  • Verifies external partners accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
  • Disburses petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation
Team Management * Supervise, train and evaluate accounting professionals, and entry level accounting
  • Manage team with clearly defined objectives to produce outstanding results and to coordinate with all departments to perform at the optimum level
  • Ensure all procedures and policies followed by team members
Job interactions * Collaborates with external partners such as tax accounting firm personnel and auditors for auditing and taxation purpose
  • Liaises with finance department in deciding the processes and procedures to standardize accounting principles across the organization
Advanced Qualification / Certification / Specialist Training * Certification in CPA, ACA, ACCA/FCCA preferred
Minimum Experience * 4 - 7 Years
