Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Trade Finance & Treasury Manager with a deep understanding of UAE banking practices, trade instruments, and treasury operations. The ideal candidate must have

strong, active relationships with top-tier UAE banks

and a proven track record in

securing trade-related and working capital financing

.

Key Responsibilities:1. Trade Finance Execution

Oversee the end-to-end processing of trade instruments: LCs, SBLCs, bank guarantees, trust receipts, and invoice discounting. Negotiate trade finance structures and terms with banks to support import/export and project-related transactions. Ensure timely submission of shipping documents, LC amendments, and payments coordination.

2. Bank Relationship Management

Maintain and grow high-level relationships with relationship managers across UAE banks. Lead negotiations to secure

short-term and long-term financing lines

, including revolving credit facilities, capex loans, and trade lines. Monitor bank covenants, compliance conditions, and renewal timelines.

3. Treasury & Liquidity Management

Forecast and manage daily liquidity and cash flow positions. Optimize cash utilization across multiple business units and bank accounts. Monitor FX exposures and manage hedging or forward cover strategies in alignment with market conditions.

4. Compliance & Reporting

Ensure strict compliance with

Central Bank of UAE regulations

, AML/KYC requirements, and internal controls. Prepare regular treasury dashboards, bank utilization reports, and financing cost analysis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CPA/CFA is a plus). 8-12 years of experience in

trade finance and treasury

, with at least

5 years in the UAE

.

Established relationships with local and international banks

in the UAE is a must. Deep understanding of

UCP600, ISP98, URDG, ICC rules

, and regional banking practices.

Skills & Competencies:

Proven ability to

raise funding and trade lines independently

. High-level negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills, particularly in evaluating financing options and treasury risk. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-border business environment.
