As the Manager, Talent Management for this ultra-luxury pre-opening hotel, you will be responsible for implementing strategies that supports acquisition, development and retention of talent within the hotel. You will work closely with the Human Resources and management team to identify and assess top talent, designing and executing employee development programs, and creating and maintaining a positive work environment that promites employee engagement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute a recruitment strategy to meet the hotel\'s pe-opening staffing needs
Create job descriptions and post job openings on various job boards and other recruitment channels
Conduct initial screening of resumes and applications, and conduct phone and in-person interviews
Develop and maintain relationships with universities and other educational institutions to attract talent
Attend job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment events to attract top candidates
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop hiring plans
Ensure all recruitment and hiring processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and other recruitment vendors
Manage the entire candidate experience, from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all candidates
Develop and implement effective employee retention strategies, including but not limited to talent management, performance, and career development
Develop and implement onboarding and training programs to ensure new hires are fully integrated into the hotel\'s culture and operations
Develop and maintain HR metrics and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the hospitality industry
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute talent strategies
Knowledge of UAE labour laws and regulations
Experience using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to guests and colleagues
