What this job involves

Effectively understand real estate needs of prospective clients and define suitable \xe2\x80\x9csustainable solutions to respond to their needs in the most professional manner;

Lead in review, analysis and development of sustainable and net zero strategies for new business opportunities.

Identify cross-selling opportunities by coordinating efforts within JLL\xe2\x80\x99s relevant departments

Support in preparation of go to market strategies

Drive business development initiatives by forming close relationships with clients and securing business wins with respect to fee earning assignments.

Support the HOD in taking a leadership role in the CRM function for SCON clients

Ensure execution of deliverables as per offers and allocation of tasks within the Consulting team;

Ensure at all times that cooperation prevails between the various offices in the interest of clients.

Lead sustainability, ESG and net zero strategy development and reporting function.

Prepare, and submit value-added proposals and conclude business contracts to achieve targets.

Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

Desired experience and technical skills

You have a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or another relevant field. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in similar sustainability topics preferred and sustainability qualifications, such as GRI, LEED etc.

4-6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience across the sustainability field within the built environment, energy management and sustainability consulting

You have a proven track record of successfully leading a sustainability program, policies and regulatory frameworks

You have comprehensive knowledge of sustainability and energy principles and concepts, techniques, particularly related to the built environment.

You have professional qualification and work experience with development, and/or implementation of \xe2\x80\x98Sustainability Rating Systems\xe2\x80\x99 such as USGBC LEED, GRESB, SBTi, GRI, TCFD, SASB

You have strong analytical skills and affinity for performing technical analysis, modeling, and data management.

You\xe2\x80\x99re able to generate/support the generation of valuable insights from analysis, and the preparation of clear and compelling reports and presentations of results.

You\xe2\x80\x99re able to prepare clear and compelling reports and presentations of analyses, results, insights and recommendations, to support the project team\xe2\x80\x99s communication to clients.

You\xe2\x80\x99re able to apply analytical skills to quantitative and technical analyses such as life cycle assessment (LCA), corporate footprinting (carbon, water, other), and climate impact reduction scenario modeling. Specific knowledge and experience with sustainability issues in the built environment is helpful.

You can collaborate with the project teams to develop customized solutions to address clients\xe2\x80\x99 sustainability-related challenges.

You can support the project team in helping the clients in their understanding and implementation of solutions.

You have strong written and verbal communication skills.

You\xe2\x80\x99re collaborative and have a team-oriented spirit.

You have strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills and are self-motivated.

You have existing network of relevant contact in the MENA region

You have strong MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

You are energetic, open minded, switched-on, personable, positive can-do attitude, team player.
