Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-developing and implementing the Marketing Procurement strategy for all Group verticals: Group Corporate Communications
  • Align with the business on their Marketing priority areas to ensure cost savings and sustain strategic partnerships
  • Get involved with business plans at the budgeting stage
  • Comprehensively analyze the spend data to identify addressable spend and maximize Spend Under Management
  • Prepare a category wise plan to address the key spend categories identifying areas where contracts could be optimized
  • Design vendor evaluation/ diligence performance scorecard for each major category of Marketing spends
  • Robust commercial awareness of the Marketing categories with a track record of strong negotiation, cost modelling and data analysis skills
  • Prioritize spending against budget
  • Align agile procurement in a way to keep business continuity at priority with the most efficient cost
  • Problem solving experience in reducing total costs, improving processes and reducing supplier risks
  • Keep an up-to-date tracker for measuring and enhancing performance indicators for procurement: Savings, Cost avoidance, Payment terms and other compliance indicators.
  • Drive consolidation of spend and seek out synergies across Business Units where applicable, by forming and leading cross-functional strategic sourcing teams to develop and implement marketing category strategies.
  • Actively seek ways to streamline business processes, provide guidance and information to the Business Units on marketing category trends and best practices, to maximize procurement leverage, optimize project design and minimize project durations and cost.
  • Develop short-term and long-term category specific plans for reducing costs and meeting financial expectation, while managing Business Units and vendor relationships.
  • Manage End to End Procure to Source (RFP and RFQ) process from requirement identification, co-developing specifications, supplier scouting, negotiation, evaluation, supplier awarding and contracting.
  • Manage the tendering process in a timely manner ensuring fairness and transparency in the process.
  • Leading and Managing Marketing and Media Buying Engagements in coordination with Group Marketing.
  • Proven track record in Supplier management by managing relevant external stakeholders to develop, engage and lead supplier relationships for extracting the greatest value in supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, enhanced service levels, risk management, sustainability, and innovation.
  • Manage the ongoing performance of suppliers including performance against the SLAs and suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 evaluations, audits, and qualification.
  • Evaluate new suppliers in the market and aggressively monitor vendor diligence through Vendor performance Scorecard
  • Internal Stakeholder management by developing Internal Stakeholder mapping system with a periodic engagement with key stakeholders from the business to understand expectations and dipstick procurement performance for their respective areas.
  • Comprehensively capture the business requirements to identify the right set of vendors capable of proving the product or service
  • Design Contract tracking system, for an up \xe2\x80\x93 to \xe2\x80\x93 date contract management and administration.
  • Ensure Corporate Procurement team and Business units are apprehending the Procurement policy, adhering to Audit requirements while providing support and solutions to the Businesses.
  • Ensure proper communication of procurement policy to all Head of departments in accordance with the DoA.
Escalate policy violations to audit and senior management Qualifications:
  • University Graduate preferably Masters
  • Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain preferable
  • 7+ years management, in Marketing Supply Chain related activity, Pricing negotiation, and logistics administration across multiple disciplines
  • Thorough knowledge of Supplier development and management
  • Previous experience within the marketing / manufacturing / Automotive industry
  • Working Experience of Good ERP
  • The candidate must have strong strategic skills, negotiations skills, Leadership skills, time management skills, computer skills, and team motivation skills
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills, Team player, Customer Expectation Management
  • Knowledge and application of industry standard Supply Chain Management processes and procedures
  • Excellent oral and written English communication
  • Experienced with ERP systems, MS Office
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
