Synopsis
The primary purpose of this role is to lead strategic and analytical initiatives within the Commercial Strategy team. The individual will work closely with key internal stakeholders across the division and broader Etihad organization, as well as with external partners, to drive data-informed decisions and support the development and execution of commercial strategies.
Accountabilities

• Own and drive the end-to-end delivery of high-impact strategic and analytical initiatives within the Commercial Strategy function, ensuring alignment with broader business priorities.
• Oversee the planning and execution of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and strategic value, while fostering a culture of accountability within project teams.
• Track portfolio performance at a program level, proactively identifying risks and variances, and leading escalation and mitigation efforts with senior stakeholders.
• Champion a forward-looking commercial lens by identifying growth opportunities and translating emerging market trends into actionable business strategies.
• Lead the development of executive-level deliverables, synthesizing complex analyses into clear, strategic recommendations for senior leadership and key decision-makers.
• Define and govern the scoping process for new initiatives, ensuring project objectives, success metrics, and stakeholder roles are clearly articulated and agreed upon.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and stakeholder engagement, driving collaboration across internal departments and external partners to deliver strategic outcomes.
• Mentor and develop team members, providing strategic guidance and ensuring consistent delivery of high-performance outcomes across special projects and strategic initiatives.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Min. of 7 years' experience in aviation or consulting field
• Strong command of English language (verbal and written)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Strong MS 365 skills, particularly PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
