About Corporate Finance \xe2\x80\x93 Restructuring
The Corporate Restructuring Practice is capable of delivering the most complex financial restructuring solutions to stakeholder groups. We provide analytical services to debtors, creditors and other stakeholders of companies experiencing unfavorable situations arising from liquidity problems, over-leverage, under-performance, right-sizing or other business transition issues.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day project management of the engagement involving:
Assisting in the structuring of the engagement approach, scope and deliverables
Managing the team to address the scope within the required timeframe and budget
Communicating with the external stakeholders to keep them appraised of progress, initial observations and issues
Coaching and addressing the issues/problems faced by the junior team members
Forming initial views and opinions on the engagement to debate with either lead Managing Director or Senior Managing Director
Taking responsibility for producing and delivering the client a substantial element of the deliverable
Take a lead role in business development activities, such as:
Organising client relationship building events
Contributing to thought leadership presentations and events
Preparation and participation in formal pitches
On the job coaching of our team
Preparation and participation in training activities
building and sharing personal relationship networks
Education and Qualifications
2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a numeric subject
ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified (1st time passes)
Skills and Competencies
Ability to work in a meritocratic structure which recognizes and rewards individual contribution
Excellent report writing and analytical skills
Good knowledge of Excel and manipulation/analysis of diverse data sets
Self-starter and inquisitive
Team player
Strong relationship management skills
Strong influencing and partnering skills
Strong communication skills both written and spoken
Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively
Additional foreign language desirable (ideally Northern European)
Results orientated
Strong leadership skills
Experience
6+ years post qualification experience
Relevant corporate restructuring experience either on behalf of creditors or distressed corporates
Starting to develop a professional network which is relevant to the London restructuring market
Business development and revenue generation experience is essential for Director and above
Experience in delivering and managing restructuring/advisory work
Experience of managing teams
Previous experience in report writing and / or drafting sections of larger reports
Experience of discussing and presenting findings to either clients, other stakeholders or senior internal team members
