Job Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
This role is responsible for maximising the profitability of the Retail Sales organization by managing projects to decrease complexity, increase productivity and ensure corporate compliance at field level for all stores across MENA Countries.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently take ownership of assigned project work to ensure the delivery of project plans on time and within agreed objectives.
  • Support the MENA Sr. Retail Consumer Excellence Manager to deliver on large scale strategic projects and operational consistencies across MENA Countries.
  • Support the UAE Sr. Retail Operations Manager on key tasks across reporting, analytics and co-ordination on the execution of key retail initiatives across UAE Stores.
  • Complete pre-project analysis, capturing current processes and practices across MENA countries and seek out existing best in class resources from Global and other markets.
  • Build comprehensive project plans for each project including success measures from all stakeholders, commercial implications and timelines.
  • Track progress of ongoing initiatives.
  • Gain feedback and buy in from MENA countries and key stakeholders on policy/project drafts to ensure end product is understood and supported.
  • Take ownership for all compliance training and documentation. Work with other internal stakeholders including Legal and Internal Control to develop and deliver compliance materials on related processes.
  • Support in the research, delivery, implementation, and measurement of local Retail Back Office related projects as required, such as the Consumer Service Model and other key business drivers.
  • Drive a culture of sharing and adopting global best practices across all MENA countries.
  • Lead key initiatives focused on Retail Operations enhancements to be implemented in all key locations.
  • Act as a single point of contact for retail initiatives and best practices across MENA and work closely with the Country trading and implementation teams for each excellence project.
  • Act as expert point of contact for MENA countries around all Retail Consumer Excellence topics.
  • Train retail staff in the operation of tools, methods and Global/Market initiatives directed by the Global and EM Retail Consumer Excellence teams.
  • Support in the development of a robust reporting framework to measure performance through key Retail KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and consumer insights to SLT, Retail Back Office and Retail Operations teams.
  • Lead weekly cross functional meetings including the reporting of weekly retail performance KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and co-ordination of key actions as aligned between teams.
  • Support MENA store roll out strategy and planning including store approval process (Store opening/closure/renovation process coordination)
  • Consumer NPS: Review and consolidate key consumer insights to support the coordination and implementation of key actions across MENA retail touchpoints, including the co-ordination of consumer call backs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
  • Strong influential skills and understanding of the organization
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree in business, ideally with sales focus or equivalent professional experience
  • 4-5 years Retail operations experience
  • Understanding of Retail, Finance, Internal Control
  • Industry experience in Sports/Fashion/FMCG
