Job Description

As the Manager of Quality Control, you will lead all quality control activities across the manufacturing facility, ensuring that materials, processes, and products meet stringent regulatory, safety, and performance standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance, supporting operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of Quality Control systems, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and international quality frameworks.
  • Oversee QC activities for all incoming materials, in-process inspections, and finished goods to ensure product conformity.
  • Develop and execute quality strategies and improvement plans to enhance product quality and operational performance.
  • Manage, train, and develop the QC team to ensure capability, compliance, and readiness to meet production needs.
  • Ensure QC operations comply with ISO standards, GMP/QSR requirements, and internal SOPs.
  • Represent CARACAL during audits, regulatory inspections, and customer quality assessments.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformities and quality incidents.
  • Oversee documentation control, including QC records, calibration logs, inspection reports, and batch release approvals.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support supplier qualification and incoming inspection processes.
  • Validate new equipment, systems, and processes impacting quality to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain a calibration program for all QC and manufacturing measurement tools.
  • Participate in risk assessments related to quality, safety, and environmental impact.
  • Promote a culture of HSE compliance across all QC activities.
  • Provide periodic reports on quality performance, KPIs, trends, and improvement actions to the Sr. SHEQ Manager.

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience with QC documentation and compliance systems
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management within manufacturing or defense
  • Strong knowledge of QA systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience leading teams and conducting audits
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality-related systems
