ABOUT THE JOB:
Manage as per the agreed project scopes, objectives, budget and outcomes and endorse project planning and management outcomes, under safe and efficient operations. Assist the VP - Offshore mobile solution in the development of policies, procedures and standards, smooth, safe and economic operations by organizing operational activity to achieve maximum utilization of manpower and equipment in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Maintain close liaison with tenants/customers and ensure prompt response to their requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of offshore projects and undertake responsibility to develop the project plan, form project teams and ensure that offshore project objectives are met.
  • Define project scopes, objectives, budget and outcomes and endorse project planning and management outcomes, in line with the departmental policies, procedures and standards.
  • Lead the implementation of risk mitigation initiatives and support the formulation of Offshore Logistics project risk policies and mitigation. Strategies by coordinating with the risk management department.
  • Oversee and provide operational support to all offshore projects requiring approval for utilization of marine units and movements within company-controlled areas and ensure that all marine operations are safely conducted in accordance with safety standards and approved procedures.
  • Evaluate project feasibility against Offshore Logistics capabilities and resources and monitor project costs to ensure alignment with project budgets.
  • Evaluate project planning and management outcomes and assess potential issues to control and manage project contingencies and analyse risks across project portfolios in accordance with organizational risk management policies and processes.
  • Provide day-to-day support and oversight to Offshore Projects activities in order to ensure a safe, technically sound and timely construction and installation, in liaison with the support teams.
  • Review project contracts in collaboration with commercial unit specialists.
  • Assess impact of changes to project scopes and deliverables, evaluate warranty claims and assess impact on projects.
  • Oversee resourcing needs and requirements, for all projects and review resource allocation and usage. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure availability of resources.
  • Formalize and agree on project completions and handovers and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
  • Attend sites visits and inspections to ensure that all offshore project requirements and specifications have been met.
  • Ensure that there are accurate records of the maintenance history of all project equipment in the company maintenance management system.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance (QA) to support claims, oversee and ensure final acceptance by clients.
  • Collaborate with the QA department to oversee quality testing activities.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures.
MINIMUN QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in maritime, engineering or logistics discipline or equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience in offshore projects management related to the Offshore Oil & Gas industry with at least five years at senior supervisory level.
  • In-depth knowledge in relevant Oil & Gas offshore projects, tendering and processes in addition to relevant regulations with sound knowledge in Oil & Gas production operations.
