The Manager, Loyalty Partnerships, MEA is a key member of the Loyalty & Partnerships EMEA Team and reports to the Director, Enterprise & Financial Partnerships, MEA. In partnership with leading financial institutions, this role will manage new and existing Cobrand Credit Card portfolios and financial partnerships in Middle East. This includes supporting the launch of new cobrand card products, executing acquisition & spend marketing campaigns and other loyalty initiatives across the MEA Cards business.

Manage MEA-based partnerships and their performance for Marriott:
  • Manages new and existing Cobrand Credit Card portfolios and financial partnerships in Middle East. This includes supporting the launch of new cobrand card products, acquisition & spend marketing campaigns and other loyalty initiatives across the MEA Cards business.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of objectives, strategies, and organization, as well as a strong working knowledge of all relevant contracts, agreements, and obligations.
  • Broaden and strengthen business relationships with partners and internal stakeholders to better leverage the partnership across the enterprise and with other business units.
  • Works with other team members and other continent stakeholders (Area Marketing, Revenue Management, Brand, Digital and Loyalty) to prioritize, plan and implement activation campaigns with the partners, ensuring the partners\xe2\x80\x99 interests are also delivered against.
  • Works with Analytics to analyze and interpret partner (and Marriott) data to identify trends and opportunities to inform future partner strategies and activities. Track and measure results and the value to Marriott of each partner, according to specific partnerships evaluation scorecard.
  • Champion existing partners internally by elevating awareness of the benefits and obligations of existing Partnership Agreements across the Corporation, including across hotels.
  • Represent disciplines needs and objectives to Global and Continent teams to secure support and opportunities where necessary.
  • In conjunction with MEA partnership leads, coordinates the use of restricted marketing funds from key global partners (eg Visa, Mastercard, Amex) to implement demand generation, Card acquisition or spend campaigns.
  • Provides support to the EMEA Loyalty, Marketing & Digital teams for key loyalty initiatives and provides support for Marriott Bonvoy Moments where applicable.
  • Ensures Partner marketing channels are maximized to gain brand exposure and visibility.
  • Supports the development of new partnerships opportunities across MEA that address key business needs (loyalty and financial) and work with the Director, Partnerships on developing business cases, internal stakeholder engagement (global and continental) and contractual negotiations to realize these new partnerships.
  • Gains understanding of other partnerships initiatives such as Enterprise Partnerships and support the delivery of key initiatives, including supporting the preferred airline partnership program with Emirates Skywards and other airlines initiatives.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience
  • Marketing experience required in areas such as: loyalty and partnerships marketing, digital marketing, brand marketing, events marketing, strategic alliances, sponsorships, airlines, hotels/travel companies or financial institutions
  • Preferred experience in Cobrand Credit Card product management and development within financial institutions preferred (banks, networks, ecc.)
  • A proven track record of managing complex multi-market, multi-stakeholder campaigns and projects that deliver upon company objectives.
Education or Certification
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Social Science or any relevant disciplines.
  • 2-4 years of relevantprofessional experience in partnership development and activation, commercial development, and/or international consumer marketing, ideally in Financial Partnerships
