Role Summary:
Assist in managing overall logistics of the country in coordination with Country Head. Leading on-demand delivery operations and maintaining excellent customer experience 24/7. Taking ownership of process change, optimizing operations, service levels, and communication with stakeholders. Monitoring, measuring, and improving compliance and performance of riders and partners.
What's on Your Plate?
Assist the top-management in developing operations strategy for effectively scaling the operations. You will be a liaison between the strategy team and implementation team
Design new processes, optimise existing processes for smooth functioning of the logistics department
Overlook UAE inventory and warehousing operations
Lead all operation related matters which are common across all the cities
Responsible for the country's rider happiness index, attrition rate and compliance rate
Set up SOPs, policies and tools for safety / compliance of riders and vendors
You will proactively collect feedback and will be responsible for tweaking processes to make them scalable and traceable
Establish and implement mechanisms to ensure cross-functional alignment and clear escalation mechanisms
Help with coordination of country level marketing and sales campaigns
Coordinate with country logistics head on expansion, special projects and new initiatives
Provide weekly updates to country management on projects & performance progress
What did we order?
Bachelor's Degree, MBA is a plus
5-8 years of experience in food/grocery tech industry is highly preferred
Extensive experience in Data Analytics
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Urdu is a must, Arabic is a plus.
People management skills: Experience of managing bigger group of people
Stakeholder management skills: Experience in dealing with cross-cultural team members and cross-functional teams
Ability to analyze data and derive insights from comprehensive data reports
Ability to deal with ambiguity, work under pressure, handle stress
