When you think of food delivery in the MENA region, we'd be pretty surprised if talabat didn't pop into your mind first! Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we've grown quite a lot over the past 17 years.
Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Our food delivery business works with over 27,000 brands and almost 50,000 branches, while our q-commerce concept, talabat mart, now delivers groceries to customers in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman Qatar, and the UAE in 30 minutes or less!

Role Summary:
Oversee the operations of our vendors in the UAE market, shaping the team to provide outstanding restaurant experience by developing effective procedures and ensuring the department runs in an efficient and profitable manner while increasing our restaurant satisfaction, operation and acceptance rate.
The fundamental goal of Logistics Operations is to ensure we create the right restaurant experience to move our business forward. Logistics Operations works closely with cross-functional partners to surface needs, prioritize, test, rollout and iterate on the restaurant operation side.
What's on Your Plate?
- Lead the operation team to ensure timely restaurant operation, accurate inventory management and efficient operations
- Ensures & improves the quality of the restaurant's operation and increase the order acceptance rate
- Inventory management (Tablets & SIM) by managing the inventory dashboard and forecast accordingly
- Work closely with all the verticals from the Operations team to plan, execute, and monitor projects related to restaurant operations and logistics.
- Support improving the restaurants performance matrixes
- Initiate and manage special projects
What did we order?
- Degree/Diploma in Logistic/Supply Chain or any other relevant field of studies
- At least 4 years of operations experience
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics operations and leading operations teams
- The ability to quickly adapt to new environment and systems so you can hit the ground running
- A highly organized and detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
- Advanced Excel and Data Interpretation Skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
