Roles and Responsibilities 1. Functional Responsibilities
a. Planning and reviews
1) Drive creation & making of the next-year roadmap and vision for the dispatch team.
2) Discuss the annual business & dispatch plan with the HOD, PPC & Marketing dep\xe2\x80\x99t by analyzing previous year\xe2\x80\x99s
dispatches, gaps and opportunities.
3) Propose targets and finalize in discussion with marketing team & PPC team, Identify priorities and key initiatives from
last 2-year roadmap and vision.
4) Lead weekly reviews with the HOD to discuss progress, issues and concerns relating to all key parameters for Logistics
operations, ISO standard, Logistics excellence & Business Excellence.
5) On a monthly basis & weekly basis, conduct review meeting of previous month with HOD.
6) Guide team in planning out new IT projects for logistics, review plans and set up project management milestones.
7) Daily basis dispatch review status with the HOD for road dispatch & shipment dispatch & Compliance the same.
8) Make a material stacking planning with PPC & Dispatch team. Management of yard by debottlenecking shifting
constraint on daily basis according to production so that SMS and Rebar Mill produces smoothly.
b. Dispatch and business excellence
1) Conduct daily meeting with Shift in charges of both the yards SRM & SMS to review the previous day\xe2\x80\x99s Dispatches
& finalize plans for the day.
2) Drive monthly dispatches to review dispatches through Shipment & by road, identify bottlenecks and plan out any
new initiatives/ focus areas.
3) Conduct daily visits to the shop floor & yards location, address issues and provide guidance.
4) Seek technical guidance from HOD on any major issues impacting productivity & Dispatches.
5) Review utilization of resources like cranes & manpower\xe2\x80\x99s within the location. Conduct discussions and take
decisions around re-allocation to optimize resource utilization.
6) In every three months, we are taking stock physical verification SAP / Actual & review the same on regular basis.
c. Health, safety and environment.
1) Drive culture of safety at both the yard like rebar yard & Billets and rounds yard by reinforcing safety practices,
setting up and tracking safety processes/ metrics, conducting on-site audits etc.
2) Participate in monthly meetings of the Central Safety Committee to review the location\xe2\x80\x99s performance of safety
measures and indicators.
3) Monitor the Yard location all key aspects of environment such as pollution, sewage power & water etc. to ensure
compliance (and improvement) against regulatory and internal benchmarks.
4) Implementation of ISO standard in the yard & shop floor & maintain all the related documents timely.
5) Review and ensure compliance of audit reports and all statutory and regulatory requirements.
6) Review all the safety compliance on time.
d. Team development
1. Weekly & monthly attraction with all team members for continuous improvement of work & further process
development.

2. Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team.
3. 3) Support team members in delivering their responsibilities in business as usual and resolve their concerns/
challenges, if any.
4. Interchange the manpower within the department for empowerment of the team members.
e. Work Controlling
1) Continuous attract with manpower contractors & transporter for submissions all the bills & timely check all the bills
& submit to billing section for clearance.
2) Timely raise the PR for dispatch related material like wire rope sealing, Wooden Dunnage, trucks stickers for
advertisement or hourly basis trailers, hydra for containers loading, hooks, D-Shackles for export shipment or any
other shifting related activities according to the business requirement.
3) Make the Common NFA in system for any decision making requirement from the management for business
controlling.
4) Transverse the manpower rolling mill to SMS & SMS to rolling mill as per workload.
