About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Manager - IT Compliance to join Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
  • Lead on the processes surrounding internal and external audits, ensuring seamless coordination and timely response to audit observations, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and accountability.
  • Maintain a meticulous IT audit log and collaborate closely with the IT team to ensure the availability of necessary progress and evidence, supporting our adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Implement and oversee daily, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc checks on applications, systems, and security measures to ensure they meet industry standards, reducing vulnerabilities and enhancing operational excellence.
  • Oversee and ensure that user access reviews are conducted in strict accordance with company policies, safeguarding against unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Guarantee compliance with patch management as part of DH IT Operations team.
  • Guarantee compliance with data backup management as part of DH IT Operations team. Restoration/recovery tests to be undertaken on regular intervals.
  • Develop and evolve user access management standards for applications not covered by global standards, such as HotSOS and SevenRooms, ensuring consistency and security across the board.
  • Ensure that all deployed hardware complies with hardening standards, protecting against potential security breaches and system vulnerabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and advocate for the implementation of automation efficiencies, enhancing operational effectiveness

About you:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or a Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited University / College.
  • Solid experience in IT Compliance at a Manager level - 5 years\' experience ideally within hospitality
  • Proven experience in roles such as IT auditing, IT security, risk management, or compliance is valuable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT compliance, including a deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Practical experience in developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Experience with risk assessment, risk management, and audit processes.
