To manage the Internal Audit team in carrying out Audit assignments in line with flydubai\xe2\x80\x99s annual Internal Audit plan, Internal Audit Charter and drive the Company\xe2\x80\x99s enterprise risk management processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Leads the development of the Internal Audit\xe2\x80\x99s annual plan in coordination with head of department, ensures the plan is responsive to and aligned with the risk profile of the organization.
Manages a team of Internal Auditors to perform complex Internal Audits which involve airline operations, commercial, finance, governance, compliance, and other business processes.
Oversees the execution of individual Audits defined in the Audit plan ensuring the highest level of service quality and client satisfaction.
Builds and maintains appropriate internal and external relationships. Works with Senior Management and other stakeholders to identify key risks and opportunities that may affect flydubai\xe2\x80\x99s operation.
Reviews the overall Audit program and working papers to ensure compliance with Audit standards and procedures. Supports staff in finalizing the audit reports and identifying relevant action plans.
Manages and directs risk assessment practice for the airline in alignment with the enterprise risk management framework.
Supports Senior Management in developing flydubai\xe2\x80\x99s risk appetite, reviewing action plans, and documenting risk exception management.
Keeps up to date with aviation risks and matters affecting the airline\xe2\x80\x99s operations.
Automates risk assessment and reporting using Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system.
Provides training, coaching, and supervision to Internal Audit staff.
Prepares and maintains Internal Audit and risk management related procedures, guidelines, ensuring all routine tasks are documented and revised as needed.

Qualification in Accounting/Auditing (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIA or equivalent)
