Job Overview: McDermott is looking for an HSES Manager. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Point of contact for functional support required during the bids and proposals phase of the project Arrange timely collection of the tender documents including bulletins and distribute within the HSES group for review and inputs Coordinate with relevant HSES discipline personnel for the review of tender documents and perform gap analysis Prepare clarifications, qualifications, exceptions or deviations, as required Prepare and submit technical and commercial deliverables in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders Prepare Scope Work / Request for Quotation (RFQ) for proposed subcontractors and vendors in line HSES Requirements for subcontractors Perform pre-qualification for critical subcontractors and vendors and assist in developing improvement plans where necessary Participate in scheduled bid progress review meetings Provide functional support for post bid submission clarification and negotiation meetings with clients Handover of technical and commercial information including clarifications and qualifications to the identified Project HSES Lead post contract award Provide regular updates to functional lead including strategy for upcoming bids Collation of lessons learned from active projects to incorporate during bids and proposals phase Other duties connected with the Function, as directed Essential Qualifications and Education: Total 12 years HSES experience in oil and gas industry Degree / Diploma in Safety Management Trained and experienced ISO standards lead auditor (9001, 14001 or 45001) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Sharepoint) and other relevant online applications Post graduate degree in health, safety or environment (preferred) Membership with a professional safety institute such as IIRSM, IOSH, IEMA (preferred) Six Sigma certified (preferred) Company Overview and Core Values: McDermott is a premier, fully-integrated provider of technology, engineering and construction solutions to the energy industry.
