About the Role
For Manager, Health and Safety main responsibility is to manage the operational application, monitoring and enforcement of all health and safety programs in place in the Resort and Employee Residences to ensure the highest standard and best practices are implemented in terms of Occupational Health & Safety. In this role you will assess and investigate incidents and manage the corrective actions across wide range of operational departments. Continuously reviewing emergency procedures as well as proactively developing new solutions is crucial in this position. The role reports to Director of Health and Safety and is part of bigger team of 10 colleagues.
About You
We would like you to have a minimum of 6 years? experience within HSE field, ideally in a high volume and fast passed environment. You need to demonstrate expert level knowledge of Dubai and UAE Federal Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations. Additionally, you need to hold and internal auditor certification in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001. Experience having worked with a large team of direct reports will be advantageous.
