When you think of food delivery in the MENA region, we'd be pretty surprised if talabat didn't pop into your mind first! Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we've grown quite a lot over the past 17 years.
Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Our food delivery business works with over 27,000 brands and almost 50,000 branches, while our q-commerce concept, talabat mart, now delivers groceries to customers in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman Qatar, and the UAE in 30 minutes or less!

Role Summary
We're looking for a passionate Growth Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and growth of the business (across all cities) through various campaigns, tactics and leveraging the right levers to deliver growth and meet all the business objectives.

Our ideal candidate is good at getting things done and can play an active role in promoting the talabat brand effectively in the UAE.
What's On Your Plate?
As growth marketing manager and a leader, this role requires you to:
  • Achieve the country and city level targets and other business objectives
  • To continuously grow (YoY and MoM) areas (e.g. Business Bay) in terms of orders and acquisitions across the cities, thereby resulting in a healthy country level growth
  • With the help of regional CRM team, work on reducing churn rate, increasing order frequency
  • Increase active user base for tPro subscription and loyalist base by shifting customers up the segment order
    To do the above, You will be responsible to develop strategies, use the right levers, and devise tactics and actions to implement the strategy to achieve the objective.
    You will have to consider driving growth through all verticals in talabat (food, non-food, quick-commerce).
    You will have to understand customer behavior, have appropriate deep dives, focus groups etc. to collect actionable insights

    Drive end-to-end data-driven campaigns in UAE; from understanding the insights to developing strategy, campaign execution, measurement and reporting, ensuring clear communication throughout each step of the process. This will also include city/ area level campaigns depending on the challenges and opportunities.
    You will be continuously testing new concepts and optimizing campaign results based on detailed analysis across the funnel and insights from our customer base
    You will also be responsible to seek relevant external partnerships (banks, other collaborations) that drive incremental growth (new users and reorders).
    In the attempt to go closer to the consumer and increase visibility and therefore growth, the role will require you to grow community presence, branding and visibility across all cities and communities.
    This role will require you to manage budgets. Work with the HOD to plan the monthly and quarterly budgets spends in the most efficient and effective way. You should be able to understand the ROI and effectiveness of each campaign and tactics used and thereby allocate the budgets.
    You will also conduct campaign analysis and performance reviews.
    Stakeholder management is very critical. This roles requires you to collaborate with head of department of sales, logistics, key accounts, quick commerce, regional and other stakeholders
    As a growth marketing manager and a leader, you will lead a team of marketing specialists and continue to develop their skills, enable greater bonds within the team and develop excellent relationships with all other stakeholders. As a leader, you will be required to mentor the team to manage the city-focused marketing and targets independently. This includes arriving at their quarterly and monthly strategies and budget utilization to achieve the targets.
    What Did We Order?
    • You have 10+ years of experience in driving growth and managing a team, ideally in a fast paced regional environment.
    • Experience in building strategic marketing plans and integrated marketing campaigns, with expertise in strategy, positioning, channel planning, go-to-market, and measurement.
    • Able to establish priorities and communicate expectations, working with others to push projects to completion.
    • Strong analytical skills & attention to detail with swift execution.
    • You showcase creativity and can solve problems and seize opportunities
    • You deliver high quality execution and ensure that your work meets the global benchmarks
    • You understand consumer/brand research and can derive actions from it. Conducting and analyzing own research is a plus
    • A collaborative team player, with experience in leading teams
    • You are a persuasive and confident communicator - both written and verbal.
    • You are fluent in English. Arabic is an advantage.
