As the Manager, of Planning and Performance, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic financial planning, forecasting, and business performance reporting across our organization.

You will lead the annual planning process, oversee financial performance reporting and analysis, and translate business strategy into measurable monitoring and performance measurement objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the bank-wide planning process, interacting with senior stakeholders to develop detailed revenue, expenses, balance sheet, and key ratio plans at various levels.
• Build and implement rolling forecasts for the bank and business units.
• Manage monthly performance reporting, providing deep insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations to drive enterprise strategic goals.
• Develop and maintain models for net interest margin and peer group analysis, benchmarking against industry standards.
• Support economic updates for board and investor packs, including key indicators and corporate responsibilities.
• Ensure cost control adherence and manage sales incentive pay-outs in compliance with policies.
• Conduct financial modeling for business initiatives, evaluating financial returns and economic viability.
• Engage in projects and transformations to enhance management information and resolve data-related issues.
• Address ad-hoc business queries and maintain documentation for standard processes.

Job Requirements:

• Qualifications: An undergraduate degree in business, commerce, finance, or accounting. Chartered Accountant accreditation with superior accounting skills and experience.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in financial services, including 3+ years in accounting public practice. Deep understanding of banking products, planning, operations, profitability, and reporting.
• Skills: Outstanding communication, planning, organizing, teamwork, and collaboration skills. Professional drive, learning attitude, process improvement, innovation, exceptional analytical skills, and precision in numerical tasks.
• Competencies: Excellent communication at senior levels, analytical thinking, delivery orientation with a focus on financial and strategic accuracy, and high emotional intelligence.
