ROLE SUMMARY
This role is a key managerial position within one of the regions largest retail organizations, based in Dubai. The role is responsible for translating analytical needs of the Finance function and other functions using financial information in the Organization into efficient flow of information available on designated BI tool.

ROLE SUMMARY

The role is responsible for translating analytical needs of the Finance function and other functions using financial information in the Organization into efficient flow of information available on designated BI tool.
ROLE PROFILE
- work on Analytics and Automation projects that would involve requirement gathering, brainstorming, solution development and implementation.
- Run and maintain existing solutions and undertake responsibility of enhancing the solution amidst changing business dynamics.
- Perform ad-hoc BI analysis reports, proposing and presenting recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions, and planned future initiatives.
- Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
- Identify opportunities for data acquisition and build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
- 6 years of experience in Finance Analytics or similar Transformational roles.
- Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information System with certification in Analytical tools is preferred.
- Data Analytics & Automation: Advanced skills in Python/R, Power BI, Power Automate, PowerApps, SQL, and VBA for financial reporting and automation, enabling more efficient processes and actionable insights.
- Predictive Analytics: Experience in applying Predictive analytics, with exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in Finance domain is preferred.
- Process Automation Tools: Develop and drive the adoption of automation tools for budgeting, forecasting, and other FP&A functions to streamline operations.
- Finance skills: Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows, with experience in Financial Analysis and reporting.
