Job Description

Key responsibilities included :

Ensure accurate accounting for all group entities in line with IFRS and relevant

accounting standards.

Complete monthly book closure within defined timelines.

Perform key closing activities:

? Bank Reconciliation

? Accruals

? Prepaid/Postpaid schedules

? Intercompany reconciliations

? Ledger scrutiny

? Maintain audit-ready books throughout the year instead of year-end preparation.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

? Execute monthly books closing for multiple companies.

? Support budgeting process - prepare budgets & forecasts in coordination with CFO/MIS.

? Perform Budget vs Actual variance analysis after each closing.

? Provide variance insights to MIS team and support profitability reporting.

? Ensure financial data is shared with MIS team within agreed timelines.

Audit, Compliance & Taxation

? Ensure monthly audit-readiness and maintain schedules for year-end consolidation.

? Coordinate with Internal & External Auditors.

? Manage UAE VAT filings, reconciliations, and compliance.

? Ensure strong working knowledge of Corporate Tax (CT) requirements.

Treasury & Fund Management

? Track upcoming planned expenses and monitor daily/weekly fund requirements.

? Analyse cash flow to ensure liquidity and proper fund allocation.

? Link investment/trading payouts with bank balances for accurate planning.

? Handle corporate card (Expense Management) platform:

? Monitor top-ups

? Ensure proper supporting documents

? Flag non-compliant spends

? Initiate chargebacks where required

Investment & Trading Accounting

? Record investment, trading, and hedging transactions across markets.

? Reconcile broker statements with books and bank accounts.

? Ensure proper recognition of gains, losses, charges, MTM, and related adjustments.

Process Standardization & Controls

? Develop and standardize SOPs across Accounts & Finance.

? Implement internal controls to minimize errors, leakages, and inefficiencies.

? Support future migration from Tally to new ERP; assist in data migration and system

transition.

Cross-functional Collaboration

? Liaise with departments such as HR, MIS, Admin, Operations, and Promoter

Office for data and approvals.

? Ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of finance-related matters.

Competency requirements:

Qualifications

? CA/CPA/ACCA with 5+ years' experience OR

? Bachelor's degree with 8+ years' experience.

Experience

? Minimum 3 years of UAE experience mandatory.

? Strong background in multi-entity accounting.

? Experience in family office finance functions preferred.

? Experience in accounting for investment/trading activities.

Technical Skills

? Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE Tax Laws (VAT & Corporate Tax).

? Advanced Excel skills.

? Experience with Tally and exposure to ERP migration projects.

? Strong understanding of budgeting, fund management, internal controls, and

compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
