The Manager of Enterprise Information Management is responsible for leading a team of analysts, scrum masters and developers focused on Coinstar's Enterprise Information Management practice, which includes Master data management on Profisee, Modern data warehouse, and data integrations on Azure, and API development. This position is responsible for overseeing project delivery as well as managing L2/L3 support responsibilities all associated with these systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide value to the business by driving all technical aspects of project and product delivery.

• Lead and coach a team of BI analysts, API developers, and data engineers responsible for delivering high-quality and actionable data, analysis, and resilient data integrations.

• Develop and maintain the enterprise information management program roadmap.

• Manage a portfolio of analytics and Integration projects, including demand intake and resource allocation governance.

• Use domain knowledge to act as a gatekeeper to ensure that all projects and products are built to an appropriate level of quality.

• Partner with multiple stakeholders, personas, and users to design Information management for single-point access and self-serve analytics solution.

• Manage the data governance and security of the company's reporting environment to ensure the right people have access to the appropriate data for their needs.

• Provide thought leadership on data management activities like data cataloging, data definition, and business glossary in support of semantic models.

• Guide the development of scalable data architecture and ensure systems are engineered for optimal availability, reliability, scalability, and performance

• Drive accuracy and consistency in data acquisition and reporting.

• Mentor and help drive operational excellence from the enterprise information management team.

• Lead a team of API and integration developers in delivering large and complex API and integration solutions, using the latest technologies and best practices.

• Lead API management using API management software (like Apigee, MuleSoft or others)

• Research information on new, emerging technologies and methods in API management & Integration and provide architectural and design guidance to the development team.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 8+ years of hands-on and hands-off software development experience with at least 2+ years in a leadership capacity.

• Strong technical background with software engineering; technical management experience a plus.

• Experience with data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytics tools

• Experience with modern data platforms based on Azure including but not limited to Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, or similar technologies.

• Experience designing and building an enterprise data warehouse.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Great communication skills and ability to work effectively on projects with developers and software development management.

• Proven experience guiding the development and support of technology solutions.

• Demonstrable problem-solving skills in dealing with technical & project delivery management, risks, issues and remediation.

• Experience in driving delivery excellence and best practices.

• Understanding of key concepts and patterns related to project integration, both application and infrastructure level.

• Proficiency in working with engineering teams to design, scope, and shepherd features through deployment and adoption.

• Ability to create functional specs, project / release plans, and roadmaps.

• Power to influence peers/managers and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity.

• Capacity to own and execute multiple projects simultaneously.

Location and Business Travel

• Our corporate headquarters is in Bellevue, WA (Seattle area) but remote/work from home arrangements are welcome as many peer team members are remote today.

• This position requires minimal to no travel.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment.
