Hiring Manager - Cybersecurity - Umm Al Quwain, UAE.
Seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager (12-15 years) to lead security operations, governance, and engineering functions. You'll design and execute cybersecurity strategies, safeguard digital assets, ensure compliance, and mitigate evolving threats. The role requires expertise in incident response, vulnerability management, cloud security (Azure/AWS), and IoT/OT security, with strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
Key Highlights:

• Lead daily security operations, incident handling, and awareness programs.

• Optimize security tools (AV, WAF, DLP, PAM, Email Security, MAM, etc.).

• Conduct risk assessments, ensure ISO 27001 compliance, and oversee vendor security reviews.

• Fine-tune detection rules, secure cloud workloads, and integrate security controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.E. in Computer Science/IT/Cybersecurity is a must.

Cybersecurity Certifications (Mandatory)

• Required: Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate/Certified SOC Analyst (C|SA)/ CEH/CompTIA Security +

• CISM/CISSP certified

• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor

Tools Technical Skills knowledge

• Email security: MIMECAST/Proofpoint/Barracuda

• Antivirus: CrowdStrike/Sentinel One

• Network Security: Palo Alto/Fortinet

• Web application Security: Cloudflare or F5

• Any Security Awareness Tool i.e. PhishRod etc.

• In-depth knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and log correlation.

• DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline security

• Cloud-native security tools (Azure, AWS etc.)

• Email and endpoint protection solutions

• IoT/OT security fundamentals

• Cybersecurity risk assessment methodology and documentation
