Manage and collaborate with public relations agency; set PR strategy and manage to outcomes. Manage and oversee communications between the organization and the public and press to increase company visibility Build relationships with the media, targeting top outlets in our most critical verticals Analyze all media coverage and draft appropriate responses where needed Develop strategies and plans for executive positioning and work with executives on promotional activities Develop media monitoring reports and compile media analysis to quantitatively evaluate success and drive decision making Collaborate closely with various departments across organization to develop and implement strategies for promoting our internal expertise, positioning as a thought leader and building a strong public image Own the corporate blog and editorial content Work closely with content marketing agency and marketing teams to develop thought leadership strategies and develop content including third-party contributions Run social media channels including managing editorial calendar, writing posts, making posts, and managing resources Daily listening, monitoring, liking and engagement in social media conversations to keep at the forefront of topics that impact our markets and connected to credible related organizations Respond to customer messages on social media Maintain key brand statistics around social media performance and overall brand KPIs and use to make decisions Manage and keep up to date the corporate and careers pages on the external-facing website Regular review of website content for brand positioning improvements Participate in the creation of marketing and promotional materials as needed Submit applications for key industry awards Help support the planning and execution of large corporate events Support ad hoc projects as needed Qualifications Bachelors Degree required
Should have 6 to 8 years of experience working in communications, with at least 3 years at public relations agency.
Experience with social media management and use of channels to position the company and increase followers
Experience working with senior leadership promoting key initiatives aimed to enhance a favorable public image of the company
Strong writing skills
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Professional presentation skills, strong proficiency in PowerPoint and other Office software
Project management skills, and a history of strong working relationships with cross-functional teams
Team player who hustles is a self-motivated problem solver, and loves to collaborate and ideate with others
Ability to connect the dots between initiatives to paint a broader picture
